“I wanted to get in touch to bring to your attention and give thanks to a driver of yours who helped me out big time last week. Myself and girlfriend were involved in a fairly bad crash at Charing Cross last Thursday night at about 8.30pm and thankfully Steesh Singh was behind us, witnessed everything that happened and then not only stopped to make sure we were ok but hung about to give a police statement and then give us a lift home as my car was not drive able afterwards (with no charge for the journey). The whole process took around 2 hours of hanging about and I'm sure wasn't the best way to end your shift. Unfortunately I forgot to take his licence number but hoping you can extend our thanks to him again and I wanted to highlight to Glasgow Taxi how much we appreciated it that he stopped. When dropping us home he refused to take any money as a thanks. If there is any way we are able to reward him through you guys then please let me know.”

“Hi folks, I have recently had an operation which has pretty much confined me to a wheelchair in the short term. During this time we have used your service extensively from my address. On most occasions, my partner has accompanied me, and been able to get me from the taxi to the destination. On those occasions when I've travelled alone, your drivers have been both kind and courteous when I have requested assistance at my destination. Thanks so much to these guys for their assistance, it has been much appreciated.”

“Just wanted to drop you an email to say I had two brilliant taxi drivers last night.... First driver taking me to a restaurant (that wasn't the easiest to find!) made sure I got there, turned off the meter when we had to do a bit of searching for it and wanted to make sure he found it for future hires (William in Cab LN63 ZNC) if you pass this on can you him the restaurant is called A’Challtainn (pronounced A Cawl Tain, Gaelic for Calton, meaning “the hazel wood”) I couldn't even pronounce it last night to help find it so copied this from the website lol. On the way home flagged a cab who unfortunately didn't have working card reader but instead of going finding a cash machine because the cash I had was only 50p short of the fayre he took that saving me the hassle of finding an ATM.

I'll be using this company from now on - great service. I work in retail and know people are often quick to complain and not compliment but these guys were brilliant!”

“I took a Glasgow Taxi from the Buchanan Bus Station to the airport about a week and a half ago. I didn't know until I reached for my wallet to pay the driver, Charles Toner, that it had fallen out of my pants on the bus from Aberdeen. It contained my credit and debit cards, my Alaska driver's license and all the cash I had. Fortunately, I had the c.c. information on my computer and was able to give it to him to manually process. I was so grateful for his kindness and trust as I was heading home after a month of sickness that began as an abscessed tooth and developed into pneumonia that put me in the Aberdeen hospital for five days.

For reasons I don't understand, the credit card transaction didn't go through, and I contacted Jim Smith at the Glasgow office, who tracked down the cab, the driver and the transaction. Ultimately I was able to make it right and pay the fare.

I can't begin to express my appreciation for the treatment I got from Charles Toner and the help from Jim Smith. Thank you so much to both of you for being there for me under such trying circumstances.”
